Eating proteins: Proteins include meats, fish, chicken, and eggs -- plus many vegetarian sources like beans, lentils, tofu, whole grains like quinoa, nuts, seeds, nut butters, protein powder supplements you can put in milk (including almond ; coconut milk if you don't like dairy), etc. http://tinyurl.com/64pdzse potatoes are starchy carbohydrates -- you would need to add fat or protein to them.

Eggs: Eggs have the best protein and fat profile. You mentioned eating potato - that is a carb/sugar source not protein. You shouldn't eat much of that.

Food protein: Egg white is superior to all. Quinoa is excellent. Beans and lentils are excellent. Milk protein is excellent. Whole grains are good but not sufficient. Nuts are excellent. Yogurt is excellent.
