A member asked:

I'm doing hiit exercises regularly , drinking water, and eating protein-fueled meals. why am i gaining weight instead of losing?

My response: muscle is denser than fatty tissue and weighs more. Your program may indeed be working, resulting in increased muscle mass, and less proportional fat, and does thereby, lead to weight gain. But beware of increased caloric intake with your current meal program.
