U sound frustrated: I assume you're dieting. If so, you're not unique--most of us want what we can't have! exercise (walk the mall, bike riding a paved trail) will burn calories. Of course you can eat almonds or any other healthy food just in small portions ; with substitutions. Cheating on your diet twice a week will help you feel less deprived, but make up for it the next day. Research fun low-cal recipes.

800 calories: 4 ounces of nuts is 800 calories. If you know how many calories you need in a day and allow for the calories in the nuts, you should not gain weight. If you eat the nuts in addition to your normal diet, you may add on weight.
