I have mild pcos just had a baby 7mths ago and we want to try again in a yr. what steps can u take to increase fertility w/o taking metformin?

Weight loss?: If you are overweight, losing weight will help your ovulation. Also, if your periods are irregular or absent the drug, clomiphene, can be more helpful than even metformin (for getting pregnant).

Weight control: The best thing to do is to keep your weight as normal as possible. Work on losing weight if you're currently overweight. If your weight is already normal, work on maintaining it that way.
