How high?: Chronic stress has the potential to increase the dheas although it doesn't do this in everyone. Rarely an adrenal or ovarian tumor can raise the level but almost always raises testosterone also - which you report is normal. Dheas can have weak "male hormone" effect, causing mainly increased unwanted hair growth. Typically one counters this oral contraceptives and, sometimes, spironolactone.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
