After cataract surgery will i always need eye drops?

Dr. Rodney Remington
23 years experience in Ophthalmology
No: Typically eye drops are used for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks after cataract surgery. It would be highly unusual to require drops longer than a few months even in complicated cases.
