Cataract surgery may: have prolonged or late onset inflammation in some individuals. If this occurs after the normal post-operative course of topical medications then an examination is needed to determine why this is occurring and treat the underlying cause. Though most commonly inflammation is the cause, rarely late onset infection may occur. Please follow with your Ophthalmologist for evaluation.
