Need diagnosis: Intermittent voice changes can be due to a number of problems. Voice abuse, voice misuse, reflux of gastric acid are but a few. Indirect laryngoscopy by an ENT doctor is necessary for a diagnosis and advice. Particularly if you are a smoker, the vocal folds need to be visualized.
