Diabetes: The diagnosis of diabetes is based having either a fasting blood glucose (from a blood draw) of 126 mg/dl on 2 separate days or a random blood glucose of 200 one time with symptoms like increase thirst and urination. Other test like a glucose tolerance test and a hemoglobin a1c can also be used to diagnosis diabetes.
