Are the peaks and valleys of sugar levels as drastic in diabetes ii as diabetes i?

Usually not: Type 1 diabetics require Insulin and the peaks and valleys of blood sugar levels tend to vary more than with type 2 diabetics. When under control, both type 1 and type 2 diabetics should ideally not have very deep drops nor very high elevations in their blood sugar levels.
