Bad idea: The effectiveness depends on what "diet pills" you actually took. They have different mechanism of action and work differently depending on the individual person. In general, it is a bad idea to take a medication that was not prescribed specifically for you. Go to your doctor and ask for your own pills. You might have characteristics where one diet pill might be better suited for you than others.
