TMJ pain: Greetings. My thought is that you probably have referred pain to your ear from your jaw joint. Another possibility is an outer ear infection which is being stimulated with the jaw motion causing the ear canal pain. Do you have drainage? Does your ear hurt to touch or pull on it? Do you chew lots of gum? All these types of questions are important to answer your ??. See your doctor for confirmation.
