Serous otitis: Fluid behind the ear drum can occur after a cold or with allergies. It may resolve on it's own as the cold resolves or it can become infected with bacteria. If there is pain that is worsening with or without fever, this may indicate a bacterial infection. If not better, best to see ENT doctor for a check.
