Colon cancer: Less likely. Colon cancer commonly present with GI symptoms first if any. Risk of colon cancer is determined by age, family history of colon cancer under age 50, personal history of colon cancer or polyps, and high risk genetic syndromes. Under age 50, the risk of colon cancer is relatively low unless with high risk features as above. However, if your pain persist, you should be evaluated.
