Can a negative ct scan without contrast of the head miss a brain tumor causing headaches?
I recently had a Head and Neck CT scan. One without and one with contrast. What are the chances a brain tumor causing symptoms was missed?
Had head CT scan with and w/o contrast. Findings say all normal but possible small arachnoid cyst in anteromedial left frontal lobe. Had MRI w/o contrast 18 months ago with no mentions. Could this have been missed? Is this early brain cancer?

I had a CT scan at A&E two days ago as I was worried about a bleed on the brain (or even a stroke) because of unusual throbbing pain in head and dizziness. The CT was okay but could it have missed a bleed or could it have happened since?
