My pdoc put me on zoloft (sertraline) 300mg in divided dose. is it normal dose?can i combat depression without medications?

Yes, it is Normal: Usually this dose is given to get you back into base line meaning on normal functioning , over time your doctor can lower the dosage as the symptoms show improvement. Along with other depression manage therapies, exercise, diet one can in most cases over time may not even need medication.
