Maybe: Tasting blood and spitting blood are two separate things. Your doctor should be notified. If you are spitting blood you should be seen immediately. Antibiotics can alter blood clotting. Ruptured peritonsilar abscess can cause bleeding. These usually need longer and more potent antibiotic courses. Strep can cause superficial tonsilar bleeding, but this isn't common at day 7 of treatment. See dr.
