Infection: It is possible that your lower respiratory tract has become infected with a different or similar, resistant bacteria which is causing bronchitis. You may need additional antibiotics with a medication that will better target this area. Guaifenesin, more liquids, & humidification may help. You should discuss this with your doctor, if you need further assistance.
