Probably not: Afaik there is no correlation between permanent hearing loss and TMJ disfunction.

Not really: Hearing loss can be a symptom of a TMJ/TMD problem, but as far as causing permanent hearing loss, not really. If the TMJ issue was caused by some sort of trauma, then the two ailments can occur simultaneously and seem related.

Without doubt: TMJ disorder may cause ear pain, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), and hearing loss or impairment. TMJ hearing loss begins with inflammation. See TMJ specialist (orofacial pain) for diagnosis and treatment.
