Some dentists feel that TMJ dysfunction could potentially cause tinnitus, but not so clearcut in my opinion, BUT, there is absolutely no evidence of secondary hearing loss from jaw problems solely.

It is very common for my TMJ patients to report hearing loss; although, when the hearing is tested they test normal.
