Yes: Sudden increases in blood pressure (BP) (especially in patients with history of high blood pressure) can lead to a condition called hypertensive encephalopathy. Besides seizures, headaches, confusion, among other neurological symptoms may be present in this condition. If you have high bp, it's recommended you follow advice of your doctor to keep your BP in check. Hope that helps!
