See dentist: Two possible white spots can be demineralization of enamel or hypoplasia of enamel. The first is a beginning cavity. Depending on stage it might be remineralized or a filling placed. The other is a mark on the tooth due to way the enamel laid down due to high fluoride, injury, or illness. They sometimes may need filling to mask. However, sometimes they can be treated with mi paste to resolve.
