See your dentist or:: It is not always easy to remove wisdom teeth; sometimes a bit of the root remains which can cause a chronic infection called a cavitation. I am concerned you may have cavitations or a chronic infection so please return to the dentist who did the surgery (or another oral surgeon) to assess and treat this.

Infection: Most likely cause is infection. Please return to your treating Dentist or Oral Surgeon, the practitioner that is responsible for your post-surgical care.
