Usually nine: Most men will find they have prostate cancer due to an abnormal psa test, only when prostate cancer is very advanced do we sees symptoms....Many think psa is the reason we now see many fewer men with cancer that has already spread.

No symptoms: most of the time it is asymptomatic. In its late stages there can be poor urine flow, painful urination, or blood in the urine.

Varies.: Some people with prostate cancer may not have any symptoms and are found with a prostate nodule on routine examination or have blood work that shows a high psa level. The screening recommendations for prostate cancer are debated/controversial, so have a discussion with your doctor. Your doctor can discuss the risks and benefits of screening.

Cause is unknown: The symptoms are vague and not specific. So screening with blood test/ psa levels is advised if you are a male between 50 to70 years old. Eat healthy and use low fat foods..With ample veggies and fruits with each meal. Keep your weight into a healthy range. This migh tkeep you healthy for a long time to come.
