It should: When decayed, rotten teeth are removed, the gingiva closes up over the socket, and the pathway for bacteria into the bone is removed. At 32 years old, is that what you really want... Dentures? Root canal therapy and proper restorative care is the better choice.

Yes but: Yes but you will never find eating as pleasurable as you do eating with your own teeth. The abscesses can be treated and prevented, keeping your teeth if possible is a much better choice.

Pretty much: Dentures will not cause abscesses, but can couse ulcerations if not properly and routinely adjusted as needed. However at your age you should consider saving your teeth or getting implants and fixed teeth supported by the implants. See your dentist for evaluation and maybe get a referral to the reconstructive specialist -- the Prosthodontist. good luck
