It's his problem: I'm sorry about your dad. However, he's already been told the score by his physician and there is nothing you can do to prevent him from continuing this self-destructive behavior. You may want to get with a group like AlAnon that helps family members and people who love problem drinkers.

Cyst/pseudo cyst : If no more alcohol ingestion there is a chance that he has a pancreatic pseudo cyst/ cyst. A repeat CT should confirm it or rule it out.
