I would avoid it...: Alcohol could be a trigger to develop pancreatitis. If you are make the decision to have it anyway, should be done in very small amounts since it could exacerbate your symptoms.

Yes.....and no: While your pancreatitis was due to gallstones and/or the ERCP used to clear your bile duct ......alcohol is a common cause of pancreatitis......but usually in large quantities. Moderation is key....would not exceed 2 drinks daily more than 2-3 times per week........if that.
