Follow up scan: what are the size of the tiny nodules to be precise here? if they are so small like a few mm only, there is nothing much you can do at this time anyway as biopsy would likely not be able to be done due to the limited size. No need to worry at this time. people can have scarring or granuloma which can be presented as small lung nodules. You definitely need to get a follow up CT scan to compare them

Just had my 3rd Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Scan. One in 2015, 2019 and now 2019. On all three they have noted a Solitary 3mm non-calcified nodule within the medial subpleural aspect of the Lingula, no pulmonary mass, nodule is stable and unchanged?
Conflicting info one doc says small cell lung cancer cannot be ruled out by unremarkable chest ct scan. Another doc says it can as sclc is exceptionally unlikely with nothing significant on ct. Any radiologists here have any views. Thank you.
My chest CT scan finding: "there are few small lung nodules: there is 6 mm nodule in anterior right middle lobe and in right lower; the a subpleural 5 mm nodule is in right lower lobe and two small 4 mm nodules in right lower lobe." Is this serious?
