7 years too long: You have been suffering too long. I don't know what multiple "cogtherapy" is. Standard cognitive behavioral therapy is powerful. I would suggest getting a 2nd opinion from a licensed psychologist who has been formally trained in cognitive behavioral therapy. This person should be able to find the obstacle that stops the therapies from working.

Don't give up: See another psychiatrist, and try a different treatment regimen. There is probably a solution for your problems - just be persistent.
