I have general anxiety disorder and my dr prescribed 50mg of seroquel (quetiapine) xr off label its having some side effects of insomnia is this a healthy dose?

Sedation is: Common with seroquel (quetiapine). I was not able to find insomnia listed as a seroquel (quetiapine) side effect.

Common dose: That is a fairly common dose. It does often cause drowsiness. You will need to be careful if you are taking this during the day, especially with driving, operating equipment, etc.
