It depends.: Stopping antidepressants can cause a "discontinuation syndrome" that people mistake for withdrawals because the symptoms include nausea, sleep disturbance irritability and a flu-like symptoms hence these medications should done gradually. The length of the symptoms will vary depending on how high a the doses were and how long you've been taking them. Seroquel (quetiapine) helps with sleep.
