Positive: If you have an ectopic pregnancy your blood test will be positive for that pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies can be life-threatening and you need to seek immediate medical attention. It is possible to treat at a topic pregnancy with Methotrexate or surgery. This is not a viable pregnancy it will not be able to survive. It must be aborted in order to save your life.
