Ortho Retainers: From what you describe it would appear that the retainers are not maintaining the teeth in their post-orthodontic position. You should definitely see an orthodontist as soon as possible for an evaluation.

See an orthodontist: If i understand your question correctly, the retainers opened the space? Bottom line, go see your orthodontist, if possible retainers should not open a space. Need to be seen.

Tooth Gap: By all means, see your orthodontist now, as there is something gone wrong with your retention

See an ortho: Gaps between teeth are an issue best addressed by a specialist, namely an orthodontist, not a dentist.

Go back: Immediately, if not sooner, go back to see whoever made the fixed retainer for you. The longer you wait, the more complex and expensive the repair. Call now.

Check retainer: You should go see your dentist to have the retainer evaluated. If you stop wearing the retainer, the space/gap should go back to normal.

See dentist: the gap most likely will remain or widen. So see your dentist for correction.

Not sure?: Do you mean you had a permanent retainer removed a few days ago or had one put on? In either case you should consult your dentist.

See Orthodontist: If your bite is deep or other issues see your Orthodontist. If the gap is not too big, much more expedient to have your Dentist bond the space closed.
