Yes: If they continue to suck their fingers after age 4 or 5 they can move the teeth. Thumb sucking is a bigger problem imo.

Why?: Do you brush with it daily? It is quite abrasive, so don't use daily. Wait till after healing before resuming baking soda periodically.

Irritation: Very common for tissue to recede around a crown. The area must be kept clean, but not damaged due to overzealous brushing.
