Go back: Go back and have the diastema (space) treated. Remember that retainers are not active treatment appliances. They maintain the status quo. You may need additional treatment to close the space and keep it closed. Ask your dentist or preferably an orthodontist for help.

Orthodontist: Speak to your orthodontist. The space may have formed due to your teeth shifting, most likely due to the bonded retainers coming loose. Unfortunately a little bit of ortho care may be necessary to close the gap.
