A member asked:

I took zoloft (sertraline) 50mg for 2 months for severe social anxiety and reactive depression, but it did not work , is it advisable to try it again at 100mg ?

Did it help at all?: If you saw any benefit i'd go higher--usual dose 100-200mg/day , if not try another med ; therapy.

ANXIETY/DEPRESSION: The most complete evaluation for medication is with a Psychiatrist. First have a physical exam by a Dr. to rule out a physical problem. Please consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy to help you with ZOOM.com sessions. Research indicates with psychotherapy you can change & find better coping mechanisms.
