35 yrs, i had ectopic pregnancy a yr back, no tube removal, only repaired.m planning 4 a baby now, is fol 123 (folic acid 5mg)ok for me and when to take?

Yes, but...: It is okay to take this much folate, (folic acid) but it is usually only indicated in these doses in women with previously affected children with neural tube defects and on certain anti-seizure medications. I am not aware of it being a treatment for prior ectopic pregnancy.
