See below: See an addiction psychiatrist or a physician certified by the american board of addiction medicine. Both societies have websites. While you may benefit from inpatient treatment, there is no rule that every detox from a particular drug requires such.

Depends: All that you mentioned are helpful, and they more of these resources you use the more likely you will be successful at maintaining abstinence. It also depends on which drug you are addicted to. There are medications now that help with craving, but it depends on which drug you were using. See an addiction medicine doctor to determine which medication may be helpful for you.
