Second opinion: You may benefit from seeing another psychiatrist for a second opinion. There are other medications that could be tried, and there are also ways to augment the medications you're already taking. A fresh review may open up possibilities that help you. You can also ask your doctor about adding l-methyfolate to your regimen (deplin may help) and making sure to take 1-2 g epa (in fish oil)/day.

It is important to find the correct combination of medications with your Psychiatrist. Have a physical exam to rule out illness. If you are not confident in your Dr. see another for a 2nd opinion. Medications are not sufficient since they do not teach you coping. Psychotherapy with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy can help your medications to work better.
