A member asked:

What does overlying reactive pigmented epidermal hyperplasia mean? i had a punch biopsy done a few days ago.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A benign change: It means the overlying skin is a little thicker and a little darker than elsewhere. This is common overlying a benign dermatofibroma or benign fibrous histiocytoma.
