A member asked:

I had a biopsy done and it says proliferative endometrium with blood present no evidence of hyperplasia or malignancy what does proliferative endometrium with blood present mean ?? im worried ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"Proliferative endometrium" is tissue that has not been affected by progesterone yet in that cycle, which occurs after ovulation. This type of endometrium designation is completely benign, and the blood occurs secondary to the biopsy itself and does not indicate concern.
