Punch biopsy: A punch biopsy was done to arrive at a diagnosis to find out what your "sunspot" is.

To confirm diagnosis: When confronted with a suspicious pigmented lesion it is always better to be safe than sorry. It is not unusual for a mole or sun spot (solar lentigo) that is not removed completely to reccur. Under those circumstances it becomes even more of a challenge to monitor these spots. See your dermatologist.
