It depends...: 135/85 doesn't need treatment but 150/90 does so this depends on how often you're anxious; if it's much of the time i'd advise treatment, if most of the time it's low then you don't need it. You sound like a good candidate for stress reduction techniques; meditating 20 min./day reduces BP all day long. I advise trying meditation, exercise, magnesium ; herbs like holy basil ; turmeric before drugs.
