Ask your doctor: Please ask your doctor about your medications and reasons for particular choices. S/he knows your case much better than we can here. Olanzapine is generally used for psychotic symptoms & agitation, which can happen in ptsd & other conditions. Some may also use it off-label to augment antidepressant effect, help with resistant sleep disorder, etc. But for sure, ask your doctor.

Talk to doc: Olanzapine, also called zyprexa, (olanzapine) is primarily used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It is also sometimes used to treat agitation among the developmentally disabled. Sounds like you need to ask your doc to clarify why s/he prescribed it.
