Viral illness: And thick mucus draining in the back of your daughter's throat can cause her to lose her voice. Dry and tight cough can cause sore throat and headaches. Regardless, she needs to be seen for a better feel of what is going on with her and get treated soon. Also, want to make sure the headache is not something more serious
