There's always a: Chance. 12 weeks seems to be a 'magic' crucial stage. Miscarriages are more common before 12 weeks and less common after. Ultrasound is not perfect, and sometimes the cloudy sac is a technical issue with the ultrasound. No test and no doctor can predict the future with 100% accuracy. Sometimes the best advice is to to prepare for the worse, and hope for the best.
