My doctor thinks i have cellulitis of the toe. he put me on antibiotics but is there anything i can do to decrease the swelling?

Infection/edema: Swelling is one of the major expressions of an inflammatory process. After the acute episode using warm wet packs may help to increase the circulation to the area and therefore reduce the swelling, but generally this will not make a major difference. Time will definitely help. Be patient.
