There is no 'should': Certainly not day by day will you see changes. If you work with the doctors and a therapist and the medications are right for you, you will improve. But it may have ups and downs and may plateau at times. It's not only the pill - it's what you do too. Talk to you doctor about how to manage your expectations - don't let yourself be disappointed. Be hopeful, but realistic. Best wishes!
