Im on Nardil and my doctor put me on Remeron with it I looked it up and it says theres an increased risk of serotonin syndrome with the two of them will I be ok to take them together ?

Currently on Lexapro (escitalopram) 20 mg for five days (tapering off) and now increasing my remeron to 30 mg from 15. I also take one 7.5 vicodin for mouth pain each day. Am i at risk for serotonin syndrome?
1 yr ago had a bad anxiety type reaction to lexapro, (escitalopram) doc tried remeron not after 6 months for anxiety. What else can I try, i'm nervous now about ssri?
