I have chest pain over this situation. my two yr old has had mult colonoscopys for ongoing abdominal pain., what to do?

2nd opinion: I often see abdominal pain as a recurrent problem in kids.In a kid with poor communication skills, (2yo) i would seek answers to his problem from other sources, not just his lower bowel.A visit with a developmental pediatrician may be the best way to unravel this problem.

Other approaches: I don't know why multiple colonoscopies are warranted- they look for structural problems in the colon ; that is likely not the main problem. Abd. Pain in a 2 yo may be related to food sensitivities ; imbalances of intestinal flora. Stress may also be a factor. Consider seeing a holistic md or doctor who does functional medicine. Homeopathy may also be beneficial.
